Job Description

Phoenix Children’s Hospital is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to support supply chain and receiving operations. This role is responsible for processing incoming shipments, verifying purchase orders, organizing deliveries, and ensuring materials are accurately tracked and routed throughout the hospital.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient hospital operations by ensuring all incoming goods are received, documented, and delivered in a timely manner while following hospital standards. The Receiving Associate will work closely with internal departments and vendors, requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in receiving, warehouse, or supply chain operations
• Experience with electronic pallet jacks or powered equipment (certification a plus)
• Strong computer skills with experience using inventory systems (Lawson or Workday preferred)
• Ability to process purchase orders and accurately receive shipments in system
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable communicating with vendors and internal teams via phone and in person
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50–60 lbs as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
• Experience using pallet jacks or material handling equipment
• Comfort working in physically demanding environments, including exposure to heat

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Familiarity with Lawson or Workday inventory systems
• Background in delivery, logistics, or distribution operations
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Experience coordinating and delivering materials across large facilities or campuses
