Job Description
A commercial aviation company is hiring a Product Quality Engineer to support a new saftey device acquired by the company called Thermal Switch, for their aviation aftermarket sector focused on avionics repair and electronics refurbishment. As a Product Quality Engineer, you will be the guardian of product integrity—ensuring what’s designed, built, and shipped consistently meets expectations and doesn’t come back as a problem later.
Responsibilities:
Quality Planning & Product Realization
•Develop and maintain product and process quality plans, including control plans, inspection and test strategies, and CTQ identification
Incoming & Supplier Quality Assurance
Final Acceptance, Test & Product Release
Nonconformance, MRB & Containment

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
4 – 7+ years of experience in product quality or product-facing engineer roles
Experience with:
GD&T
Root cause & corrective action
Regulated environments (automotive, aerospace, medical) manufacturing environment
Exposure to electronics assembly, test, box build, or harness manufacturing
corrective actions.
Proficiency with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, control plans, capability analysis).
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality processes.
