Data Center Technician

Insight Global is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Data Center Technician to support RBC’s production data center operations in Piscataway, NJ. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining cabling standards, executing tickets accurately, and ensuring documentation is kept up to date in a secure, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has prior data center experience, follows process closely, and takes pride in clean, organized infrastructure work.

Prior hands-on experience working in a data center or technical infrastructure environment
Experience with structured cabling, including patching, labeling, and cable management
Ability to work with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems to manage and track work requests
Experience using IM Vision or comparable documentation / asset tracking tools
Ability to pass a clean background check and operate in a regulated environment

Experience supporting enterprise or financial services data centers
Familiarity with hardware installs, break/fix, or data center moves/adds/changes
Strong documentation and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
