Job Description

The Senior Field Technician is a hands-on, client-facing role responsible for performing onsite IT support, remediation, and technology standardization at customer locations. This individual serves as a field-based technical resource focused on aligning client environments with operational, security, and support best practices. The role includes deploying and supporting end-user hardware, assisting with light network and infrastructure work, identifying risks and gaps during onsite visits, and improving documentation and asset visibility. Success in this position requires strong troubleshooting skills, comfort working independently in the field, and the ability to communicate clearly with both end users and internal support teams. The ideal candidate has prior onsite IT or MSP experience, strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset focused on creating clean, well-documented, and supportable client environments.

This is a full time, permanent position that requires on-site and field work. This position is posted at $60,000 - $70,000/yr.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on onsite IT support experience supporting business environments (desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, and end users)

Strong workstation deployment and hardware lifecycle skills, including imaging, user setup, swaps, office moves, and asset tracking

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11, with basic Active Directory / Entra user administration

Foundational networking knowledge (TCP/IP, switching, wireless, DHCP/DNS, patch panels, firewall and access point support)

Excellent client-facing communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently onsite and follow standards
