Job Description
The Logistics Manager directs and supports logistics management operations for defense programs, weapons systems, or mission‑critical initiatives. This role plans, coordinates, and evaluates logistics actions across the acquisition lifecycle to ensure timely and effective support. Responsibilities include defining requirements for funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services; aligning logistics needs with program plans; and integrating logistics functions to support program execution. The position supports product support planning, government‑furnished equipment (GFE) management, property accountability, and sustainment activities in accordance with DoD acquisition policies and processes.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in logistics management supporting defense programs or acquisition efforts
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
Strong knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle and product support planning
Extensive experience with DoD 5000-series acquisition processes
Understanding of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements
Familiarity with Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) and Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS‑BCA)
Knowledge of government-furnished equipment (GFE) and accountable property policies
Ability to integrate logistics functions across cost, schedule, manpower, materiel, and facilities
Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams to meet program requirements
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
Ability to work independently and on collaborative teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience conducting or supporting Logistics Health Assessments (LHA)
Familiarity with the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook
Experience leading project teams on complex logistics efforts
Knowledge of program planning, funding, and management information systems
Broad understanding of logistics support organizations and sustainment operations
