Day-to-Day
• Build, configure, and support Epic Professional Billing functionality
• Help own and enhance charge router logic and charging workflows
• Support claims processing, remittance, and downstream billing workflows
• Partner with highly experienced end users (limited basic tickets)
• Collaborate closely with PB team lead and technical leads
• Contribute to larger initiatives, including Epic’s AI roadmap projects
Participate in Epic on-site visits approximately every 6 months (as needed)

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
• Epic Professional Billing (PB) Administration Certification
• 3–5 years of Epic PB experience (experience prior to certification counts)
• Hands-on build and configuration experience (not training-only or support-only)
• Strong experience with:
○ Charge Router
○ Charging workflows and charge review
• Practical experience supporting claims workflows
• Ability to ramp quickly in a complex, mature Epic environment
Willing and able to work EST hours
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
• Epic PB Claims Certification
• Additional Epic Revenue Cycle module certifications
• Experience with:
○ Patient Estimates
○ Epic Security (certification or hands-on exposure)
○ Contact Hub / CRM (e.g., Cheers)
• Broader Epic PB functional knowledge beyond a single module
Additional Epic certifications (Duke covers certs through training budget)
