Job Description

• Support day‑to‑day operations of the platform and databases under guidance from senior team members.
• Triage and resolve Zendesk tickets related to application, partner, or database issues.
• Monitor system health, performance, and uptime, escalating issues when needed.
• Assist with basic database administration tasks such as backups, restores, indexing, and performance checks.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and update statements.
• Help maintain and monitor CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Support Terraform‑managed Azure infrastructure alongside the platform team.
• Assist with production troubleshooting, including logging into servers and reviewing logs.
• Work with engineers to investigate application‑level and database‑level issues.
• Help document processes, workflows, and basic operational runbooks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups and sprint planning.
• Join on‑call rotations with senior support coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a DevOps, DBA, or platform engineering/support role
• Foundational SQL knowledge, including basic query writing and troubleshooting
• Exposure to Azure database environments and cloud‑based systems
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code concepts (Terraform experience is a plus)
• General understanding of object‑oriented vs functional programming concepts
• Experience using ticketing system such as Zendesk, Jira, or similar
• Basic Linux or Windows server experience
• Ability to pass a full background check with credit check

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working within financial, fintech, and/or regulated environments
