Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Performance Engineer based in Canada to join a large HCM company on a 6 month contract to support a government-focused vulnerability remediation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for performance test engineering of 4 applications within IAM, session management, and file scanning domains. Responsibilities will include writing JMeter scripts, running scripts in azure load testing and VMs, reporting on performance data, analyzing performance data and identifying fixes. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running to meet urgent deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5-7+ years experience working as a performance engineer and software engineer in large enterprises
- Experience writing JMeter scripts for performance testing, and running scripts in azure load testing and VMs
- Experience reporting on the performance data in Graphana
- Experience analyzing performance data and identifying root cause for fixes
- Experience with Application Insights (azure tool) to report on application behaviour and application performance monitoring
- Experience reading C# code and SQL scripts
- Experience working with AI assisted development tools including GitHub copilot or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, collaboration skills, and eagerness to work on challenging projects
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Previous coding background or database background
- Ability to provide code solutions to code with bugs/issues
