Job Description
The Dispense / Sealant Process Engineer supports a large automaton client’s Paintshop Automation / Sealant Application group by designing, validating, and launching customer sealant and adhesive automation systems.
Process Engineering & Execution
• Execute process engineering activities upon receipt of customer orders
• Design and implement sealant and adhesive application processes using robots and applicator equipment
• Perform process evaluations, feasibility studies, and proposal support for quotations
• Develop and program offline simulations of sealer automation systems
○ Software: FANUC ROBOGUIDE (HandlingPRO / PaintPRO)
Machine Vision & Quality Support
• Implement machine vision systems to support inspection and quality verification
○ Vision tools: FANUC iRVision, Liberty Reach, VMT
• Support inspection, quality, and process verification activities
Customer & Launch Support
• Serve as the primary customer contact during system launches (high travel role)
• Support system installations, startup, and commissioning at customer sites
• Conduct customer demonstrations and present technical results and analysis
• Provide customer training and develop internal/external training documentation
Cross‑Functional & Continuous Improvement
• Support sales during customer appointments with technical expertise
• Participate in new and ongoing product development within the Paintshop Automation Division
• Provide continuous improvement feedback to the Process Engineering group
TOOLS & TECHNOLOGY
• FANUC Robots (M‑710, M‑20 series used in sealer applications)
• FANUC ROBOGUIDE (HandlingPRO, PaintPRO)
• Machine Vision: FANUC iRVision, Liberty Reach, VMT
• Dispense / Fluid Delivery Equipment (high‑pressure pneumatic & hydraulic systems)
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation:
$35/hr to $45/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
• Valid passport and ability to travel/work in the US, Mexico, and Canada
• Robotics background (FANUC preferred)
• Machine vision experience (iRVision, Liberty Reach, VMT or similar)
• Manufacturing plant experience supporting production environments
• Experience with high‑pressure fluid delivery systems (pneumatic/hydraulic)
• Customer‑facing experience supporting launches, demos, or system installs
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working with OEMs or large manufacturing customers
• Background specifically with dispense / sealant application equipment
• Experience with high‑pressure pneumatic or hydraulic dispensing systems
• Simulation experience and/or virtual commissioning
• Familiarity with FANUC ROBOGUIDE (HandlingPRO / PaintPRO)
• Experience with Nordson ISD or IPS dispensers
• Bilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, or French)
