Pay Rate

$18 - $22 (hourly estimate)

Job Description

Day-To-Day:
Cable Installation: Pull and route cables throughout the facility, ensuring proper placement and secure connections.
Label and document cabling accurately.
Rack and Stack: Assemble and install network racks, panels, and related hardware according to layout specifications.
Technical Labor Support: Assist with general construction-related technical tasks, such as equipment setup, material handling, and site preparation. Troubleshoot connectivity and cabling issues.
Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA and site-specific safety guidelines, including PPE requirements and metal detector checks.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and other technicians to meet daily production goals and maintain project timelines.

Compensation:

$18/hr to $22/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

• OSHA 10 construction certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
• Hands-on data center experience
• Structured cabling experience (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber)
• Experience installing, and testing copper and fiber cables
• Ability to read and follow structured cabling drawings and labeling standards
• Comfortable working in live data center environments
• Basic troubleshooting experience for cabling and connectivity issues
• Ability to work on ladders, lift equipment, and stand for long periods

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working in large-scale or hyperscale data centers (Oracle, AWS, Google, Meta, etc.)
• Familiarity with data center standards (TIA, BICSI best practices)
Previous work in colocation or enterprise data center environments
