Job Description

An Insight Global client in the manufacturing space is seeking an Inventory Handler to support day‑to‑day inventory and shipping operations. This individual will be responsible for picking, packing, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a warehouse or production environment and takes pride in accuracy and organization.
Responsibilities
• Pick, pack, and prepare finished products for outgoing orders
• Assemble boxes and crates for shipping
• Label finished products accurately and consistently
• Fabricate or assemble non‑inventory items as directed
• Read and use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and pi‑tape
• Operate basic power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain adequate levels of consumable materials and supplies
• Monitor inventory levels to support production needs
• Operate a forklift if licensed
• Follow all quality, environmental, health, and safety standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing experience
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on, physical role
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good hand‑eye coordination
• Willingness to stand or walk for extended periods of time
No minimum education requirements

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Forklift certification or prior forklift experience
• Ability to read and write in English or Spanish
• Familiarity with measuring tools used in production environments

Work Environment
• Warehouse/manufacturing setting
• Generally quiet noise level
• Team‑oriented environment with direct oversight from an Inventory Lead
