Station Leader - BNA

Insight Global is seeking a Station Leader for one of our clients to oversee a rapidly growing logistics operation in Lebanon, TN. This is a newly created leadership role driven by significant expansion, including two warehouses totaling nearly 500,000 square feet and recent major customer awards. This position will serve as the senior leader on‑site, responsible for day‑to‑day station operations, warehouse execution, freight forwarding oversight (air & ocean), and commercial leadership, while partnering closely with regional teams. The role provides the opportunity to build structure, establish leadership presence, and scale a highly profitable operation that has never had leadership at this level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the day‑to‑day operations of a growing logistics station including domestic warehousing, trucking operations, and international air & ocean freight forwarding.
• Oversee warehouse‑first execution, ensuring discipline, safety, productivity, and quality across operations
• Provide senior‑level customer leadership and client communication, acting as the face of the operation for key accounts while partnering with freight forwarding teams operating out of Atlanta.
• Own P&L responsibility, budget oversight, and profitability for the station.
• Establish accountability, professionalism, and performance expectations across the team.
• Drive safety, compliance, and quality programs, including ISO, lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support ongoing expansion, new customer awards, and organizational re‑design without disrupting current operations.

• 5–6+ years of leadership experience in warehouse operations, freight forwarding, or logistics environments.
• Hands‑on experience with international freight forwarding (air & ocean) combined with domestic warehouse operations.
• Previous experience managing teams of 6+ employees, with the ability to establish authority and lead through growth.
• Strong background in P&L ownership, cost control, and operational accountability.
• Proven commitment to safety, quality, and process discipline, including experience with ISO and lean programs.
• Experience in a commercial‑first organization with direct exposure to customer management or client relationships.
• Proficiency with WMS systems and warehouse technology.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Willingness to work fully on‑site in Lebanon, TN
