Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Central Distribution &
Inventory Supervisor for a large healthcare client. This individual will oversee inventory and distribution operations across a multi-building hospital campus, ensuring critical medical supplies are ordered, stocked, and delivered accurately at all times. The supervisor will manage union staff in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, handle midnight supply deliveries, coordinate with vendors, and serve as a key point of contact for nursing units. This role is highly hands-on, requiring frequent rounding, strong communication skills, and the ability to flex between inventory and distribution leadership to support patient care operations.
Working Hours (4 Days Total - 40 hr work week):
Weekend (2 days): 12-hour shift 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Weekdays (2 days): 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
5 years of warehouse/inventory management experience
1+ year of supervisory experience
Experience in a union/1199 environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in a hospital system
Experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle, or inventory control software Certifications such as CMRP or IAHCSMM
