Flight Simulation Systems Engineer

An employer is seeking a Systems Engineer with a focus on Flight Sciences and Aircraft Mission Systems to support the development, integration, and validation of advanced airborne platforms. In this role, you will work in a fast‑paced, deliverable‑driven environment with a strong emphasis on aerodynamics, airflow analysis, and flight performance impacts to mission systems. You will collaborate closely with flight sciences, systems, and mission engineering teams to translate aircraft‑level and mission requirements into analyzable, testable solutions using simulation, modeling, and system integration activities. The position includes hands‑on involvement in system integration, simulation-based analysis, verification testing, and flight or ground test support, working directly with customers to resolve technical challenges throughout the program lifecycle. This role requires an active DoD security clearance and is ideal for a systems engineer with experience supporting aircraft mission systems, airflow simulations, and flight sciences-driven design decisions.

This role is offering $65-80/hr.

Bachelor of Engineering in a relevant discipline
6+ years of Systems Engineering experience
Experience working in a heavy deliverable-based Agile work environment
Strong background in Flight Sciences and Aircraft Mission System Design
Strong MBSE experience

Experience working flight configurations and simulations
