Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior EHS Specialist to support its Warsaw, IN manufacturing site, which produces advanced Cranial, Spinal, ENT, and Emerging Technology medical devices. This role is critical to driving a safe, compliant, and high‑performing manufacturing environment in alignment with team's mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.

Required Skills & Experience

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and enforce site-wide EHS programs in compliance with OSHA and federal, state, and local regulations
Serve as a hands-on EHS leader with a strong GEMBA approach, engaging shop-floor operations to identify hazards and drive risk reduction
Lead and track EHS KPIs, including labor hours, hazardous materials management, regulated waste reporting, audits, and root cause analysis
Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and apply the hierarchy of controls
Drive ergonomic, electrical safety, and injury prevention initiatives
Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely corrective actions
Own environmental compliance activities including hazardous materials, regulated waste, air emissions, and wastewater systems
Partner closely with Maintenance, Purchasing, and Facilities teams to ensure safe equipment operation, material selection, and facility modifications
Deliver employee EHS training to promote accountability and a strong safety culture
Collaborate with regulatory agencies and Medtronic’s global EHS network to implement best practices locally


Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of EHS experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years of experience
Proven ability to manage projects, track performance metrics, and influence safety outcomes independently

Medical Device experience
Industrial hygiene experience
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement background
Experience with laboratory electrical safety and laser/radiation safety
