Job Description

• Create deployment plans – Write orders to direct product from the plants to satisfy forward demand. Managing inventory and space constraints, you will focus on minimizing risk to case fill. Acting as single point of contact for assigned plant’s deployment of product across the network, you will manage outbound volume to achieve desired space utilization and protect service.
• Cross-Functional Partner – Working with Supply Planners, Sales, Distribution, Transportation, and other functional areas, together you will strive to achieve optimal service, cost, and inventory balance.
• Maintain Planning System Parameters – Work daily within our planning system to manage deployment horizons, transit times, shipping constraints, and inventory constraints. This will include performing daily forward risk analysis and root cause analysis to improve case fill. You will redeploy planned and unplanned product.
• Communication – This position is responsible for providing timely updates and analysis to partners relative to service or cost opportunities. Provide comprehensive and prompt communication to stakeholders to keep them updated. It’s about teamwork!

Compensation:
$30.00-35.00/hr

Required Skills & Experience

• Understanding of the supply/demand planning business drivers, organization structures, and key metrics.
• Proficiency working with SAP or similar database application technology (Working with IT codes, functional areas like supply chain, material ordering, there will be some S&P with planning book - both within ERP system).
• Excellent proficiency using Microsoft Excel, or similar software – managing spreadsheets, reporting.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or experience in related fields.
• CPG industry experience nice to have.
