Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a data analyst for an Information Security team for a large Canadian bank. This consultant is responsible for analyzing, reporting, and presenting data for many different teams within Power BI. We are looking for someone who has strong experience with large data sets, investigative skills to find out the meaning behind the data so it can be digested appropriately when developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the data.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5-10 years experience within data analysis and reporting for large enterprises, preferably within a security line of business or financial services enterprise
- Recent work experience working at a large enterprise with thousands of data sets
- Databricks scripting experience using Databricks notebooks or through the SQL editor to automate tasks, perform data transformations, and build data pipelines.
- Advanced Power BI and experience with dax within Power BI
- Extensive experience with Power BI functions such as simple graphs to advanced dashboards with many filters
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience creating SQL queries
- Python
- Excellent communication (10/10)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience working for a Canadian bank
