Job Description
Insight Global is seeking to hire a Payroll Manager to support a private management company based in Miami, FL.
This is a direct hire opportunity that will work in a hybrid capacity, in the office Tuesday - Thursday, and remote on Mondays/Fridays.
The Payroll Manager oversees all payroll operations. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, continual development and enhancement of internal processes and controls, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of payroll systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Human Resources and Finance teams.
Essential Tasks:
Payroll Processing
· Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees.
· Calculate wages, deductions, and withholdings, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
· Ensure that any special processes or recurring manual adjustments are documented and adhered to.
· Collaborate with HR & Operations Teams regarding recurring payments or one-time bonuses.
· Confirm processing of retirement plan contributions after each payroll.
Compliance
· Stay updated on local, state, and federal payroll tax regulations and ensure audit processes are in place to verify compliance.
· Prepare and submit payroll-related reports and documentation as required by regulatory authorities.
· Document/Track all provided updates to tax rates, entities and/or garnishments.
· Manage year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
· Ensure compliance with all year-end reporting requirements.
· Maintain accurate and organized payroll records.
· Prepare and maintain reports related to payroll activities for internal and external audits.
Payroll Systems Management & Optimization
· Oversee the implementation and maintenance of payroll software and systems.
· Ensure that payroll systems are up-to-date and aligned with organizational needs
· Coordinate with HR and other departments to manage employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductions.
· Ensure that new acquisitions are aligned with the Endeavor model and/or provide a plan for transition.
· Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements in the payroll function.
· Maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
Collaboration with stakeholders
· Work with employees and relevant departments to investigate & resolve inquiries related to payroll.
· Communicate with employees regarding payroll-related matters, including changes in policies, procedures, and deadlines.
· Collaborate with finance and HR departments to ensure seamless information flow.
· Collaborate with the acquisition, Finance & HR teams to ensure that new schools & employees are setup properly in the payroll system.
· Generate and analyze payroll reports for management review.
· Provide regular reports on payroll-related metrics and key performance indicators.
· Ensure proper communication of year-end updates and tips with employees & leadership.
Team Leadership
· Manage a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance, training, and supervision.
· Ensure the team's adherence to deadlines and accuracy in payroll calculations.

Required Skills & Experience
-Associates Degree is required; Bachelors degree is preferred
-5+ years of payroll processing experience is required
-Prior Leadership experience is required
-Experience with acquisitions is required
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred
-Bachelors degree related to accounting, finance or related is preferred
