Job Description

Project Delivery & Operations
Oversee safe and compliant delivery of all projects within the business unit

Ensure projects meet contractual, regulatory, and technical requirements

Monitor project performance, timelines, budgets, and quality standards

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all active projects

Lead project review meetings covering safety, financials, and progress

Team Leadership
Recruit, develop, and retain project management talent

Provide coaching, performance management, and support for team members

Ensure onboarding and competency development for new hires

Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

Business Development & Client Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners

Identify new project opportunities and develop a robust pipeline

Lead the creation and management of bids, tenders, and proposals

Participate in client presentations, solution development, and negotiations

Drive innovation and explore new technologies or delivery methods

Financial & Commercial Management
Manage project P&L, forecasting, and financial performance

Ensure projects are delivered within budget and profitability targets

Optimize costs through effective procurement and subcontractor management

Negotiate commercial terms and resolve contractual issues

Strategic & Cross‑Functional Leadership
Contribute to business unit strategy and long‑term planning

Implement governance, processes, and best practices across the project function

Provide reporting, insights, and communication to senior leadership

Support broader organizational initiatives and operational improvements

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience delivering projects in construction, engineering, facilities, or technical environments

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage a project portfolio

Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance

Strong communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder‑management skills

Ability to manage risk, solve problems, and make informed decisions

Highly organized with strong analytical and commercial skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Ability to travel and work flexibly when needed

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or a related field

Technical qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or construction disciplines

Experience in critical environments or complex technical facilities

Background in business development or sales within project‑based services

Familiarity with modern technologies, digital tools, or innovative delivery methods

Experience implementing new processes or organizational change
