Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an OSP Engineer to support a growing telecommunications and low‑voltage infrastructure subcontractor based in Fredericksburg, VA. This role will support telecommunications projects by traveling to job sites across a defined region and serving as the critical link between engineering design and field execution. The OSP Engineer will perform field walks, inspect existing aerial and underground infrastructure, validate fiber routes, and ensure construction aligns with engineering plans, permits, and safety standards. This individual will work closely with construction crews, project managers, utilities, and municipalities to resolve field issues, update designs and as‑built documentation, support testing and closeout efforts, and communicate progress and risks to internal stakeholders, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet quality expectations.
