Job Description
An employer is looking for an Asset Manager to sit at the Pentagon. This candidate is responsible for the full lifecycle management of over 8,000 critical IT assets. This role manages all stockroom and inventory operations, including receiving, asset tagging, secure storage, reporting, and proper disposal of IT equipment while adhering to strict SCIF security protocols and Two‑Person Integrity (TPI) requirements. Serving as a key point of contact for leadership and technical teams, the asset manager ensures accurate accountability, operational readiness, and secure logistics in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility, mission‑critical environment.
Compensation:
$30/hr to $34/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Proven experience in IT asset management, inventory control, or a related logistics role
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Direct experience working in a Pentagon, military command center, or high‑security DoD/IC environment
Familiarity with SCIF security procedures and handling classified IT equipment
Experience using IT asset management systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, Sunflower, or similar enterprise inventory tools)
Working knowledge of ITIL principles, specifically IT Asset Management (ITAM)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Exceptional organizational skills
Strong experience using Microsoft Excel or similar tools to manage and report on large data sets
Prior experience supporting senior leadership or high‑visibility missions
Comfort working in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments with strict accountability requirements
