Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an EHS Manager for a top industrial manufacturing and distribution client. This individual will serve as the site safety leader, driving a proactive ZERO HARM culture while ensuring full OSHA and EPA compliance. The role partners closely with plant leadership to align EHS strategy with operational excellence, sustainability initiatives, and long-term facility reliability. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role ideal for a safety professional who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoys making a measurable impact on people, processes, and performance.

Day-to-Day

Lead and execute site-wide EHS strategy aligned to business goals
Act as the on-site EHS expert with strong shop-floor visibility
Partner with Plant Manager and leadership on safety and operational priorities
Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards
Drive ZERO HARM culture and safe work behaviors
Interpret OSHA/EPA regulations and implement compliant solutions
Manage environmental compliance programs and sustainability efforts
Oversee EHS documentation, permits, and vendor relationships
Lead incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
Coordinate workers’ compensation cases with HR and Legal
Facilitate EHS training across all employee levels
Oversee facility safety, security, and reliability of equipment assets
Direct preventive and predictive maintenance for DC equipment (forklifts, conveyors, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Operations, Engineering, or Business
5+ years of progressive experience leading EHS programs
Manufacturing or distribution center environment experience
Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
Proven ability to lead safety culture initiatives (ZERO HARM mindset)
Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis
Experience delivering EHS training and managing compliance documentation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience owning environmental programs (waste, water, energy)
Workers’ compensation case management experience
Experience partnering closely with Plant Managers and site leadership
Preventive and predictive maintenance program oversight
Knowledge of facility security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
Sustainability or energy-reduction initiative experience
