Job Description
A large healthcare provider is hiring three remote Category Managers to support service‑based purchasing across categories including EVS, food services, elevators, and staffing/outsourcing. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management for complex categories. You will partner closely with Business Units, Leadership, Finance, Legal, and suppliers to develop effective procurement strategies, leverage buying power, and drive measurable cost savings.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute data‑driven category strategies using spend analysis, market intelligence, and business requirements
Partner with business units to plan sourcing initiatives and set targets for complex service categories
Lead competitive sourcing efforts, including RFPs, reverse auctions, supplier evaluations, and negotiations
Manage the full contract lifecycle from solicitation through execution and supplier exit
Monitor market trends, supply dynamics, and innovations to inform sourcing decisions
Build and present business cases, cost models, and savings analyses (ROI, supplier scorecards, make vs. buy)
Collaborate with Legal to ensure compliant, enforceable contract terms

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Healthcare or equivalent experiene.
-6+ years of experience developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and supporting organizational goals within strategic sourcing or supply chain functions.
-Experience working in healthcare purchasing services is required.
-Experience providing benchmarking and analysis, adopotion of terms and conditions, negiotating/ redling with vendors, etc.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remotely build relationships with stakeholders
