Job Description

The Release Manager is responsible for defining, implementing and managing software releases across the company for large and small deployments. Plan, schedule and manage software and device releases across Windows and Mac environments leveraging Intune and SCCM. The Release Manager will act as a Project Manager managing multiple software requests and multiple project tasks to completion, as well as negotiate dates and communicate status from Users to Leadership. Coordinate and schedule deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to users and business operations
Act as a project manager, driving multiple software requests and release-related tasks to completion
Serve as a relationship manager, partnering with users, engineers, and leadership to align expectations and priorities
Assess release readiness, risks, and impacts; recommend go/no‑go decisions and mitigation strategies
Communicate release status, timelines, risks, and outcomes clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration between IT, engineering, security, and business teams
Continuously improve release processes, standards, and documentation to enhance efficiency and reliability

Required Skills & Experience

At least 2-3 years of hands on experience with SCCM
Troubleshooting Client issues and creating and Running reports and/or deployment summaries using SCCM
Experience with Windows 10
Experience Understanding/deriving business needs and communicating it to BUs, End Users, and or Management
engineers

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- HP ALM experience (creating requests, creating and running reports)
- Mac OS – Mojave / Catalina / Big Sur
- CA Technologies Service Desk Manager
- Citrix RallyDev
- SQL Server Reporting Services
- JSS Dashboard
