Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire multiple Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) Technicians to join one of their large food manufacturing clients at their facility in Lathrop, California. These roles will support short‑term and extended coverage needs within the FSQ organization and will be day‑shift and swing‑shift based, depending on coverage requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing daily food safety and quality programs, performing plant‑floor inspections, supporting USDA and internal audits, and ensuring finished product meets quality and regulatory standards prior to release. This role spends the majority of time on the production floor and works closely with Operations, Sanitation, and FSQ leadership to proactively identify and address food safety risks.

Required Skills & Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Meat Science, or related field preferred
Minimum 1 year of Food Safety & Quality experience or relevant internship
Food manufacturing experience required
Meat processing experience strongly preferred
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Hands‑on understanding of HACCP principles
Familiarity with USDA/FDA regulatory requirements
HACCP Certification strongly preferred
SQF knowledge or experience accepted as equivalent
Certified HACCP Auditor (CHA) – nice to have
