Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Foreign Settlements Analyst to support our financial services client in Toronto. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on settlements expertise, strong knowledge of international payment flows, and experience working with custodians and intermediary banks. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate settlement of foreign transactions, transfers, and deposits across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and oversee foreign settlements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.

- Process transfers, deposits, and cross‑border payments, including flows between Canada, Europe, and other regions.

- Liaise with custodian banks, intermediary banks, and internal teams to resolve settlement discrepancies or breaks.

- Monitor and reconcile settlement activity across various markets and platforms.

- Support operational processes related to DTS, CDS, and other settlement systems (knowledge helpful but not required).

- Maintain documentation, escalate issues, and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

3–4 years of hands‑on settlements experience, ideally within capital markets or global operations.

Experience working directly with custodians and intermediary banks.

Exposure to cross‑border payments and international settlement workflows.

Strong understanding of settlement cycles, cash movements, and trade lifecycle processes.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.
