Principal Domain Architect

Insight Global is seeking a Principal Domain Architect to provide technical leadership and oversight for a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform. This is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity for a senior‑level resource with strong CLM experience. While experience with any CLM platform is acceptable, Icertis experience is strongly preferred.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and governance of the production environment, with a strong focus on SDLC standards, release management, and coordination with third‑party implementation and support partners.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical oversight of the CLM platform, ensuring production stability and adherence to SDLC standards
Partner with business stakeholders to intake prioritized configuration changes and translate business needs into clear technical requirements, supporting both defect remediation and enhancements
Organize and plan configuration changes into structured releases, coordinating work across third‑party configuration resources
Lead systems integration testing (SIT) oversight, change control, and release planning activities
Ensure third‑party support teams maintain accurate configuration documentation, including configuration workbooks and artifacts
Develop and maintain a technology roadmap aligned to current and future business requirements
Oversee platform security, segregation of duties (SOD), and risk controls across a multi‑tenant environment
Act as a key technical advisor during platform discussions, reviews, and decision‑making forums


Compensation: $60/hr to $70/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Senior‑level experience providing technical oversight for a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform
Hands‑on experience with CLM SDLC processes, requirements management, release planning, and change control
Experience working with and governing third‑party vendors or managed services teams
Strong understanding of system integration testing and environment management
Experience supporting security, access controls, and SOD in enterprise or multi‑tenant systems
Excellent ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Icertis experience preferred, but not required
