Insight Global is seeking an entry‑level (L1) System Administrator to support and maintain enterprise infrastructure for a public university. This role will focus on day‑to‑day system operations within a Windows environment, partnering closely with senior system administrators and cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues, maintain system stability, and support reliable operations. This position has an on‑site requirement of five days per week on location in Denton, TX. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to gain hands‑on experience with enterprise‑level systems and infrastructure in a fast‑paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience
-1–2 years of experience in systems administration
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in systems administration
-Building and deploying new virtual servers in environments with multiple machines
-Supporting Microsoft 365 systems and handling incidents and service requests
-Managing Active Directory, including user account creation and removal, group and permission management, and directory synchronization
-Managing VMware environments, including virtual machines, resource allocation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
-Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work on ladders when needed
-Ability to work 5 days a week on-site in Denton, TX
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's degree
-Familiarity with managing virtual environments at scale, including environments with several hundred virtual machines
