Job Description

An employer is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a 6-month contract-to-hire position. The company specializes in delivering fiber internet services to residential and small business customers. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and web-based communication. The position requires developing and maintaining a strong understanding of fiber optic products, services, and solutions in order to clearly articulate value to prospective clients. Success in this role also depends on building and nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Sales leads, opportunities, and customer accounts are actively tracked and managed through CRM systems to ensure timely follow ups and accurate progress updates. The role includes preparing and delivering price quotes, proposals, and contracts, while collaborating closely with marketing and field sales teams to align efforts, share insights, and support smooth customer handoffs. Regular reporting on sales metrics, targets, and overall performance is also provided to management. Target pay is $18-20 an hour + commission.

Work schedule– Tuesday-Saturday
Working Hours – 12-8PM PST
Commission - $50 paid for every sale installed

Required Skills & Experience

1–3 years of inside sales experience, ideally within telecommunications, fiber optics, or the technology industry

Hands‑on experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot to manage leads, accounts, and sales opportunities

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
