Job Description

Lead the visual design aspect of a reimagined, digital-first MRO app experience and applications used by Sales and Parts Distribution teams. Develop and manage the Design Language and Interface Guidelines that then drive development, deployment, and iteration

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years working as part of a technology team in an enterprise context (or as a contractor/freelancer in similar, ongoing product development) - aviation/aerospace experience a plus.
• 3+ years in a design leadership role for one or more products (solo delivery or direct leadership.
• Robust portfolio of enterprise app design projects / deliverables.
• Experience with large scale MRP or ERP systems required (multi-facility, thousands of users, highly distributed).
• Participation in major technology transformation(s) a plus.
• A balance between creativity and practicality (ability to think/speak in operational terminology) and a passion for delivering compelling technology experiences that unlock efficiency at scale.
• Experience with an agile scrum team.
• Empathy for business users and a keen ability to understand before/after states of large-scale transformation and how to build a bridge between them.
• Excellent communication skills and a clear vision for overall Product Design.
• Comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and fluid prioritization.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality output, while understanding and matching pace with key implementation partners (Development, DevOps, Product, Innovation)
