Job Description:
We are looking for a senior-level engineer to modernize an existing AI chatbot into a fully agentic, conversational system using Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK). This role will focus on building stateful, workflow-driven AI agents and integrating them with Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise.
Key responsibilities
• Design and build AI agents using ADK to support conversational, stateful interactions
• Transform existing chatbot logic into dynamic, flexible agentic workflows
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise platforms (Gemini Enterprise)
• Develop backend services and APIs to support orchestration, memory, and tool usage
• Collaborate closely with product and platform teams supporting strategic enterprise initiatives

Required Skills & Experience
• agentic workflow development experience
• 5+ years software engineering experience
• Strong backend engineering experience (Python preferred)
• Hands-on experience with ADK or similar stateful agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph)
• Experience building and deploying agentic systems to cloud platforms
• Experience integrating LLMs into production applications
• Strong systems design and API development skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Gemini Enterprise or comparable enterprise LLM platforms
• Background modernizing existing automation or chatbot systems
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures
