Job Description
A new position within the firm, the referral specialist will assist with building a defined and systematic referral program. They will coordinate with the marketing team to identify and maintain relationships with external firms. Our intake team is currently based in Concord, NH, but you may find opportunities to travel to other offices to meet with attorneys.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Conducting phone, email/text, and occasional in-person interviews with potential new clients to understand their story, and document accurately the details of the potential matter.
• Managing dozens of potential client files through a defined workflow, from initial contact through to potential retention, referral, or decline. Following up as necessary.
• Understanding the different information needs of several practice areas and accurately record information received from potential new clients in the firm database.
• Working collaboratively to build and optimize a process for handling inbound and outbound referrals.
• Reaching out to and building relationships with external attorneys and law firms.
• Suggesting and facilitating opportunities for attorneys to grow their own networks.

Required Skills & Experience
• High volume inbound calling experience: Must be able to respond to incoming calls/emails in an expedited manner on a daily basis.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ customer service phone experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, scanning and maintaining electronic files is a plus.
• Should be a fast learner on new computer programs, prior experience with CRM or referral systems a plus.
• Experience building new processes a plus.
• Attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English. Multilingual a plus.
