Insight Global is seeking a Mid-Level Civil Engineer Assistant Project Manager for a top civil and environmental engineering consulting firm in Pittsburgh, PA. This role supports civil/site development projects for commercial, industrial, institutional, and energy clients. The position involves site design, permitting, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and participation throughout the full project lifecycle—from concept through construction. The individual will work closely with senior leadership, interact with clients and public agencies, and mentor junior staff while growing their career in a collaborative, employee-focused environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer
- Land development, site layout, grading, stormwater management
- Erosion & sedimentation control, site utilities
- Engineering in Training (EIT) certification required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or PE scheduled/in progress
- Proficiency in computer modeling software, including: AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Storm Sewers
- Strong communication skills; comfortable in client-facing roles
Ability and desire to mentor junior engineers and designers
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Background supporting projects in:
- Commercial & industrial land development
- Energy (oil & gas, renewable/solar)
Institutional or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Project Management software (Bluebeam)
