Job Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in Capital Markets Credit Risk. This role will play a critical part in supporting a platform upgrade, with a focus on understanding business and technical requirements, analyzing the existing framework, and assessing system functionality. The Business Analyst will work hands-on with the system—reviewing configurations, breaking down components, identifying issues, and supporting test planning and execution. They will assess what is functioning as expected versus what is not, communicate findings, and feed results into downstream reporting and further testing efforts. The role also involves collaborating closely with team leads to surface issues, track resolution, and support overall delivery. Beyond this initiative, the Business Analyst will be part of a broader team of BAs embedded on the business side of Capital Markets Risk technology teams, partnering in agile sprints to deliver on strategic and regulatory priorities.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of Business Analyst experience in capital markets credit risk
Strong background in capital markets
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
Advanced Excel skills (large datasets, complex calculations)
Strong SQL skills for querying and summarizing large data sets
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to senior stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Background in engineering, math or a business background
Experience testing products specifically in credit risk
