Job Description
The Service Advisor is responsible for supporting the administrative and customer service needs of the Service Department. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring service requests are processed accurately and efficiently while helping the department meet and exceed customer expectations.
Essential Functions
• Generate repair orders based on customer service requests
• Answer and route incoming service department phone calls to appropriate personnel
• Provide service estimates to customers as needed
• Process all repair orders prior to equipment drop-off or pickup
• Prepare and manage shipping and delivery documentation
• Complete billing and invoicing for all service department work
• Apply parts to service technician work orders accurately
• Obtain customer signatures on repair orders at equipment drop-off and pickup
• Process purchase orders (P.O.s) for vendors and shop merchandise
• Type correspondence and documentation as needed for division personnel
• Schedule all shop repairs and coordinate service timelines
• Assist with inventory control and tracking
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
• Support special projects and additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum Requirements:
• High school education or equivalent
• 1 year as a service center advisor
• Experience working with computer applications (software applications/portals, MS office suite)
• Familiar with the process of ordering parts, work orders, estimates, and shipping process
• Strong customer service
