Job Description

The Network Architect is responsible for designing, reviewing, and validating high-level network architectures to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role plays a critical part in aligning network capabilities with organizational and client requirements while maintaining strict adherence to standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Design, review, and validate high-level network architecture and implementation plans
Assess network requirements and capabilities to ensure compatibility, performance, and scalability
Verify network settings, configurations, and security requirements using specialized diagnostics and testing tools
Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities, intrusion risks, and performance issues
Coordinate the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software
Ensure ongoing network integrity, reliability, and compliance with established standards
Provide technical leadership and guidance for complex wired, wireless, and local area networks (LAN/WAN)
Implement and evaluate new networking technologies aligned with high-level design strategies
Monitor network performance against defined project and operational requirements
Determine appropriate architecture based on system size, complexity, and future growth
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to prevent connectivity or compatibility issues
Manage and set client expectations by following strict network and security protocols
Communicate progress, risks, and escalations to network administrators, supervisors, and stakeholders as needed

This is onsite 4 days a week in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This is offering 70-74/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in network architecture, network engineering, or related roles
Active CCNP
Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise-level network environments
Strong knowledge of network security principles, tools, and testing methodologies
Expertise with LAN, WAN, and wireless network architectures
Proficiency using network analysis, monitoring, and security testing software

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting complex or large-scale enterprise environments
Proven ability to implement emerging network technologies
