Job Description

A leading healthcare provider in Philadelphia, PA is currently seeking Paramedics to join their dynamic medical transport team. In this role, Paramedics will deliver high-quality patient care during both inter-facility transfers and emergency transports, adhering to established clinical protocols. The Critical Care Transport Paramedic shall be experienced and proficient in performing advanced life support skills such as intubation, IV insertion, medication administration, EKG interpretation, and chest decompression.

This specialized team provides medical transport across multiple levels of care, including:
-Critical Care Transport (CCT)
-Specialty Care Transport (SCT)
-Advanced Life Support (ALS)

Each ambulance crew consists of a Registered Nurse, a Paramedic, and an EMT driver, ensuring comprehensive care throughout every transport.

As frontline members of the care team, Paramedics serve as the first point of contact for patients and their families, playing a vital role in both clinical support and compassionate service delivery.

Ideal candidates are comfortable working in ground or air transport environments. Training for air support will be provided if needed.

Scheduling Details:
Shifts typically consist of three 12-hour days (day or night)
Every other weekend scheduling to start
Flexible scheduling options available

Required Skills & Experience

3 years of previous field paramedic experience in a critical care transport program or 911 ALS ambulance service from when you received your state or national registration
BCLS/ACLS certified
Valid Driver's License

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Paramedic NREMT-P certification
PA Paramedic license - they can obtain this if they don't have it
Ground and Flight Experience
