Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced production services specialist to join one of our largest financial services clients in their Equities, Derivatives & Swaps production services team providing front line technical support to end user requests and issues. They will be responsible for managing application platform monitoring and support, root cause analysis and preventative actions to ensure stability & resiliency across all services. They will lead incident & problem management activities, onboarding applications and effectively communicate to stakeholders for front office trading applications as part of a global production services team.
The successful candidate will be one who also embraces innovation and can learn the business and technical components of an application and work with peers to ensure stable release deployments and platform stability. This role will be part of a team in New York, with a wider global team providing production services across core trading & technology locations.
This person should have good knowledge of the Global Markets technology ecosystem, strong technical skills in monitoring and observability systems like Splunk and Dynatrace as well as Global Markets Equities domain understanding. They should be self-starters, with the ability to conduct independent research as well as collaborate with bank SMEs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical and operational support for Equities CASH, Derivatives & Swaps production traders, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards
• Act as a primary point of contact for user Queries, Triaging, troubleshooting issues, and escalating or resolving high-priority incidents
• Work closely with Traders, Middle Office users, Sales and technology teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements aligned with business objectives
• Implement process improvements, maintain quality controls, and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Produce regular reports on system stability, incident trends, and team performance to support transparency and continuous improvement
• Utilize SRE principles and solutions to drive stability & resiliency improvements
• Manages and prioritizes multiple tasks and assignments for the team including tracking tasks and tickets in system(s) of record, ensuring enterprise service level agreements are met, and participating in defect, incident, problem, and change review meetings and release activities
• Provides point of escalation for team members, peers, and partner teams, and shares the leadership Point of Contact for triage of high priority incidents or consulting engagements
• Works with appropriate teams to ensure alerts, monitoring, dashboards, and processes are established appropriately for new projects and initiatives
Performs access reviews, conducts compliance activities, and serves as a delegate for administrative processes

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Application support/development, ensuring stability for critical Trading platforms in a global, team-oriented environment
• Hands on experience providing direct support to front office trading desks
• Knowledge of Equities/ Equities CASH asset class and related trade processing flows.
• Experience with distributed application platforms: UNIX, LINUX
• Strong experience with SQL
• Ability to lead triage and solve production outage situations under tight deadlines, including root cause and problem resolution follow-ups
• Experienced on monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, Splunk, Dynatrace
• Experienced in ITIL processes (using Remedy/ServiceNow for ticketing) and Jira for workflow mgnt
• Programming skills: Python
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of ITIL & SDLC principles and execution
• Experience in coordinating with offshore/onshore support, business, vendor, and infrastructure partners
