Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Litigation Paralegal to support a personal injury and disability firm in Chattanooga, TN. This individual will work closely with up to three attorneys who are frequently in and out of trial and need a paralegal to step in, take ownership, and keep cases moving without constant direction. The ideal candidate is well-versed in personal injury litigation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable managing cases from pleadings through trial preparation.

This is a full-time, in-office position (Monday-Friday) in Chattanooga, TN.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation, including discovery, mediation, and trial preparation
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and legal correspondence
- Manage and maintain personal injury litigation files, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance within case management systems
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and explain next steps with professionalism and empathy
- Request, review, organize, and summarize medical records, medical bills, wage documentation, and damages‑related materials
- Coordinate depositions, independent medical examinations (IMEs), mediations, and court hearings
- Prepare trial and mediation materials, including exhibits, witness lists, trial binders, and summaries
- File legal documents in state and federal courts, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and procedural rules
- Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case strategy
- Maintain accurate data entry and up‑to‑date case information across internal systems
- Work within a gradually evolving, technology‑forward environment

Required Skills & Experience

- Personal injury litigation or civil litigation experience is required
- 2+ years of experience working in a personal injury law firm or litigation-focused practice
- Strong legal writing and drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple litigation cases simultaneously in a deadline‑driven environment
- Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and damages documentation
- Proficiency with case management, document management, and e‑filing systems
- Ability to work independently, pick up an established litigation “playbook,” and keep cases progressing while attorneys are in trial
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience supporting multiple trial attorneys
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted or technology‑enabled legal tools
- Experience providing executive or administrative support in a litigation setting
- Strong client‑facing communication skills
