Pay Rate

$56 - $70 (hourly estimate)

Job Description

Design and support electrical systems ranging from substation secondary 4160V down to 120V distribution
Work on facility power distribution and power management systems
Develop one‑line schematics, electrical system drawings, and technical studies
Apply NFPA and IEEE standards to electrical systems
Support refurbishment and reactivation of large aerospace test facilities (NASA)

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Proven experience working in city utility, industrial power, or power plant environments
Strong background in electrical power systems (generation, transmission, distribution, or large‑scale facility power)
Hands‑on experience integrating facility electrical systems into an existing electrical grid
Clear experience as a power‑focused electrical engineer (not controls, instrumentation, or data acquisition)
Working knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices for industrial or utility power systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

(PE, high‑voltage, NASA/DoD, commissioning, etc.)
