Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Middle Office Associate for a top alternative asset management client. This individual will support a high-visibility IG Short Fund that is pioneering daily pricing and reporting across the firm. The role sits at the intersection of portfolio oversight, fund administration, and transformation, with a strong emphasis on reconciliation, PnL review, and operational diligence. The ideal candidate thrives in a project-driven environment, partners closely with fund administrators, and brings a strong understanding of cash, FX, and complex fund structures—while also contributing to automation and AI-driven process improvements. Additional Job Responsibilities included :

Oversee daily and monthly fund reporting, pricing, and reconciliations
Review daily PnL, cash, and position breaks provided by the fund administrator
Perform heavy tri-balance style reconciliation (cash, positions, PnL)
Partner closely with the fund administrator to resolve breaks and data feed issues
Validate pricing accuracy and ensure all required data feeds are received
Monitor cash balances, FX exposure, and borrowing facilities
Support daily pricing initiative
Ensure administrator readiness for daily NAV and reporting
Participate in books & records transformation projects
Assist with broader transformation / AI initiatives during downtime

Required Skills & Experience

3–7 years of experience in Portfolio Management or Fund Administration
Background working at a fund and partnering with a fund administrator
Strong reconciliation experience (PnL, cash, positions, breaks)
Knowledge of a variety of asset classes (preferably private equity and bonds)
Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables; BVA experience a plus)
Experience with FIS VPM (Virtual Portfolio Manager)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Exposure to WSO loan systems
Experience with IVP or cash master / reconciliation tools
AI experience (ChatGPT, Claude) – ability to build workflows or automation
Background in transformation, automation, or AI-driven initiatives
