Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a hands-on SQL-focused developer who works primarily at the data layer, supporting data transformation, cleansing, and preparation within SQL Server environments. This role is not a reporting-only position — strong SQL programming experience is mandatory.
Day to day
• Writing and maintaining complex SQL / T‑SQL code
• Developing and optimizing:
○ Stored procedures
○ Views
○ Tables
• Transforming, cleaning, deduplicating, and preparing data within SQL Server
• Moving and structuring data for downstream reporting use
• Working within a SQL database / data warehouse environment
• Supporting reporting teams by providing clean, structured data
• Supporting Power BI / Tableau reporting

Required Skills & Experience
5–7 years of hands‑on experience
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server / T‑SQL
• Proven experience writing stored procedures and SQL logic
• Experience working with data warehouses or SQL databases
• Data transformation and cleansing experience in SQL
• Comfortable debugging SQL logic and handling data quality issues
Exposure to Power BI and/or Tableau
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Exposure to Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouses.
Familiarity with ELT / ELT concepts and Azure data platforms.
Awareness of Microsoft Fabric or modern BI ecosystems.
Experience supporting enterprise or multi‑source BI environments.
