What you’ll do
• Lead project scheduling and management to ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and develop corrective actions.
• Design and implement systems using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation.
• Engage in quantum engineering projects that push the boundaries of technology.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in mechanical design.
• Utilize SolidWorks and Creo for 3D modeling and drafting of mechanical components.
• Ensure compliance with ASME codes and standards throughout the design process.
Collaborate on mechanical knowledge sharing, enhancing team capabilities in CAD, Simulink, LabVIEW, Arduino, CNC machining, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and more.

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering in a Manufacturing space (Railroad materials is a plus)
• Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher (Open to a Bachelor's Degree with 15+ Years of experience)
• Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles with hands-on experience in mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.
• Experience with system design methodologies and tools like MATLAB and Simulink.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and techniques, including CNC operations.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies for problem-solving.
