Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Heave Fabrication Fitter that is proficient in fitting materials with varying thickness ranging from 3/16" - 1". We are looking for individuals who are wanting to grow their craft and gain experience in Aircraft Carrier/Submarine manufacturing. You will be supporting local shipyards by primarily building ventilation systems that will be delivered to carriers and submarines.
You will need to have experience reading NAVSEA blueprints and working within appropriate tolerances. All of this work will be done in a shop environment where you will be provided a work station to accomplish all of your fabrication work.
Working hours are four 10 hour days starting at 7am for first shift or 4pm for second shift, with the option for occasional OT.
Pay Range: $22-$33 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years experience in heavy fabrication fitting experience
- Familiar with fixturing their parts to prep for fabrication
- Ability to interpret NAVSEA drawings
- Ability to work within tighter tolerances to support post weld machining
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Fluxcore/Stick welding experience
