Job Description

A client of Insight Global in the thermal solutions industry is looking to hire a Business Development Manager specifically for their AI/Data Center infrastructure division. This person will drive sales of server and rack-level thermal hardware for AI/HPC infrastructure, including high-efficiency fans, heat sinks, cold plates, manifolds, and integrated air-to-liquid cooling solutions. Additionally, this person will primarily support hyperscale customers such as Microsoft, while also developing opportunities with Meta, Google, Apple, Supermicro, and their broader ODM/OEM server ecosystem.

This role requires a highly motivated and aggressive business development mindset, a strong technical understanding of hyperscale server infrastructure, and the ability to build long-term relationships within the AI server and data center ecosystem. This role is a permanent direct hire, and base salary is negotiable (∼$150k max). This role can also be worked FULLY REMOTE, but candidates must sit within in the Seattle, WA area. Apply today!

Required Skills & Experience

4-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within server hardware, data center infrastructure, AI, or thermal solutions
Comfortable with travel 25%-40% of the time for customer visits and occasional Asia travel
Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers, server OEMs, or ODMs
Existing or developing relationships with Microsoft, Meta, Google, Apple, Supermicro, or their ODM partners is highly desirable
Comfortable collaborating across global teams and Asia time zones when working with R&D and manufacturing teams
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business, or related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Prior experience working with or at thermal solution manufacturers or competitors such as Delta Electronics, Nidec, or AVC
Experience selling server or rack-level cooling solutions, including fans, heat sinks, cold plates, liquid cooling systems, or related thermal hardware
