Job Description

Communications Specialist – Digital Supply Chain to
play a critical role in stripping away the jargon from our data driven projects to create clear,
engaging stories that explain exactly how new tools will help inform improved decisions at
all levels of retail management and executives. Instead of just sharing technical specs,
you’ll help focus on the "so what?".
By managing the program’s internal brand through everything from visual guides and
newsletters to strategic meetings, you ensure that technical investments don't just sit on a
shelf, but are understood, embraced, and successfully adopted across the entire
company.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Technical Translation & Content Strategy
The heart of this role is taking high-level technical requirements and demystifying them.
You are responsible for turning dry technical designs and process into engaging, user
focused marketing copy that explains the value of the program and aligns it with the overall
corporate strategy.
2. Multi-Channel Creative Production
You are the "brand manager" for the project. This involves designing and producing a wide
variety of innovative assets, including:
• Visuals: Slides, digital brochures, and website content.
• Editorial: Blog posts, newsletters, and executive updates.
• Engagement: Managing the program’s group mailbox and internal social pages to
ensure a consistent "voice."
3. Project & Stakeholder Management
This is a high-tempo role that requires disciplined planning. You aren't just writing; you are:
• Developing workplans with specific deliverables and timelines.
• Organizing and facilitating meetings and presentations to keep stakeholders
informed.
• Managing the "feedback loop" by monitoring adoption rates and engagement
metrics.
4. Cultural Advocacy
Beyond the deliverables, the role is a Champion for Change. You are tasked with
advocating for "new ways of working" and encouraging the entire enterprise to upskill and
embrace a data-driven culture.
Required Qualifications
• BA degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Creative Writing, or relevant
writing-heavy program
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in planning, designing, and writing a variety
of program marketing materials for a broad enterprise audience, preferably in
corporate, internal or employee communications
• Demonstrated professional-level writing ability with respect to voice, style,
organization, and structure, and clear understanding of the target audience(s) and
presentation of key message(s). A portfolio of samples is required
• Experience with organizational change management on strategic initiatives,
preferably in a corporate, or retail environment
• Experience in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment; highly self-directed and
able to work well under tight timelines
• Advanced competencies in collaboration, communication, team building, and
stakeholder engagement
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required (Word, SharePoint & PowerPoint -
Visio is an asset)
• OCM, proofreading and/or editing certifications would be an asset

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
