Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant, M&A on behalf of a leading healthcare organization. This role supports financial due diligence and post‑close transaction accounting across the company’s clinic acquisition portfolio. The Senior Accountant will perform detailed financial analysis, support closing mechanics, and ensure continuity between diligence findings and post‑acquisition reporting.
Working closely with the Director of Finance, M&A and Corporate Development, this position plays a hands-on role in executing multiple transactions within a public‑company operating environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
Conduct detailed financial analysis, including revenue and COGS testing, margin analysis, expense normalization, trend evaluation, and working capital and net debt calculations.
Prepare diligence models and draft comprehensive due diligence reports summarizing key findings and proposed adjustments.
Perform revenue-to-cash validation, including reconciliations to source system data.
Support the preparation of closing statements and working capital calculations, ensuring alignment with financial provisions in purchase agreements.
Track earnouts and contingent consideration, assist with purchase price allocation, and maintain acquisition accounting schedules.
Provide audit documentation support and prepare structured financial transition packages for integration teams.

Required Skills & Experience
CPA designation
4–7 years of experience in:
○ Audit
○ Transaction services
○ Corporate accounting
○ Due diligence (critical)
Experience with mid-to-small sized transactions (clinic level)
• Strong Excel + analytical skills
• Strong documentation + attention to detail
• Experience supporting M&A transactions
Exposure to public company reporting (asset)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Master's in finance and/or CFA (preferred but flexible)
Big Four or accounting firm experience (due diligence/QOE specifically)
Canadian healthcare experience preferred
Ability to evaluate one-doctor to multi-doctor clinic acquisitions
