Job Description
Role Summary
The QA Analyst is responsible for supporting quality assurance activities across the project, including manual and automated testing for UI, API, and data processes. This role works closely with development and business teams throughout the SDLC to ensure applications meet functional, technical, and quality standards. The QA Analyst contributes to test planning, execution, defect tracking, and documentation while adhering to defined intake and gating processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the development and execution of test strategies, test plans, and test cases
• Execute manual and automated tests for UI, API, and batch data processes
• Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Selenium
• Support automation framework enhancements under established standards
• Execute ETL testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and end‑to‑end processing
• Collaborate with application development teams to align testing with requirements and timelines
• Participate in intake activities including requirement reviews and test case design
• Log, track, and retest defects using Jira
• Maintain test documentation, test evidence, and results in Confluence
• Support CI/CD testing efforts by executing and monitoring automated test runs
• Validate gating criteria and support release readiness activities
• Provide clear testing status updates and results to the QA Lead or project stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience
Required Skills
• Hands‑on experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
• Experience with:
Robot Framework and Selenium
Automated testing for UI and API layers
Batch data and ETL testing
• Understanding of SDLC and application development processes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
• Working knowledge of Jira for defect tracking and Confluence for documentation
• Exposure to intake and gating processes
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Exposure to AI‑assisted testing tools or concepts (e.g., test case generation, optimization)
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Basic scripting or programming experience
