Job Description
The Senior Manager, Financial Systems Support is responsible for the stability, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the firm’s financial applications—primarily Elite 3E—across billing, accounts payable, cash, general ledger, and related integrations. This role leads a small team that provides functional support, troubleshooting, training, access/security administration, and month-end close support. The position partners closely with Finance leadership, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, system controls, and efficient financial operations in a multi-office (and potentially multi-currency/multi-entity) law firm environment.
Targeting $100 an hour or greater dependent on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
- Deep functional expertise in Elite 3E (or Elite Enterprise) within a law firm/professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of legal finance operations: billing, AP, cash receipts, GL accounting, and month-end close processes.
- Demonstrated experience with system configuration and setups, including access/security administration and operational controls.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills—able to diagnose data/process issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution across teams.
- Strong reporting and analytical capabilities; proficiency in SQL for data extraction/validation and ad hoc analysis.
- Experience supporting multi-office operations; ability to work effectively with stakeholders across Finance and IT.
- Project management skills (requirements, planning, stakeholder communications, testing/UAT, cutover/go-live support).
- Strong communication skills—able to translate technical/system concepts into business impacts and training for end users.
- People leadership experience (team building, training, performance management, and fostering collaboration in hybrid/remote settings).
- 8+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting legal/professional services financial systems (Elite 3E preferred).
- 3+ years of leadership or lead-level responsibility (people management or functional/team leadership).
- Hands-on experience supporting month-end close, balancing, reconciliations, and finance reporting in a law firm environment.
- Experience with implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements of Elite 3E/Enterprise (project or workstream leadership).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
