Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support one of our financial services clients in Charlotte, NC. This role will join the Third Party Data Warehousing team, supporting ongoing enhancements and delivery initiatives across the data warehouse platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading a Scrum team in a data centric environment and thrives in a setting with continuous, incremental work. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a strong focus on delivery, planning, and prioritization within a fast paced data ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, ensuring they are productive and outcome focused
• Coach the team on Agile and Scrum best practices, tailored to data warehousing work
• Identify, remove, and escalate impediments impacting delivery
• Enable predictable delivery through effective planning, refinement, and dependency management
• Promote data quality, transparency, and clear definitions of done
• Foster collaboration across data engineers, stakeholders, and partner teams
• Protect the team from distractions and unplanned work during the sprint
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable follow ups

Required Skills & Experience
4-7 years of Scrum Master experience
Jira and Confluence
Experience working with Data Management / Data Warehouse / Data Mart
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Will be expected to present to project leadership in a clear and concise manner on a regular basis
Proactive – Understands when to pick up the phone rather than wait for an email response
Technology Acumen – Able to comprehend and demonstrate command of technical work efforts
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Financial Services (preferably BOA experience – as enterprise change process must be followed)
Microsoft Project
Scrum/Kanban master (CSM/PSM/SAFe) certification
Project management (PMP) experience
